During the summer following the death of Sirius, Harry isn't sure what to make of the sudden appearance of a six-year-old boy. As far as Harry knew, it was all some sort of experiment that only Dumbledore could understand. He had no idea that the cat he had been given to keep him company instead of Hedwig over the holidays before his 3rd year, was in fact, his hated Potions Master in disguise.
