Summary: Often overlooked, emotional and psychological abuse leave unseen scars that can't always be healed. Severus learns he's one of the major perpetrators and must try to reconcile.

Summary: Something is wrong with the Order of the Phoenix. One by one they begin acting very strangely, losing all their inhibitions and acting on their inner desires before their health is affected too. Is it a prank gone wrong, or is it a more nefarious plot? For some reason Harry and Severus (and possibly one other, if you want - writer's choice who it is) are the only ones unaffected and they must learn to work together to find a solution. *Inspired by Star Trek episode 'The Naked Time' and it's Star Trek: The Next Generation counterpart 'The Naked Now'

Summary: While reading through his mother's journals from her Hogwarts years, Harry discovers he has a half-brother whose father is Severus Snape. They dated during their 5th year, and she became pregnant. The baby was born the summer before their 6th year, and given up for adoption.
Rules:
- Takes place a few years after the war. Snape is alive and he and Harry have resolved their differences. Snape is a mentor and father-figure to Harry.
- The brother must be a character from another fandom (not an anime or manga).
- Pairings are optional, but no Harry/Ginny, and no Harry/Draco.
- Snape and Harry search for him together.
Options/Things to think about:
- Does Snape know about his son, and just hasn't told Harry? Or was Lily able to keep it a secret somehow?
- Is the brother a wizard or squib?
- Does he know he was adopted?
Bonus points if the brother is:
- Sherlock Holmes (tv series 'Sherlock')
- Scott Summers/Cyclops (X-Men)
- Xander Harris or Daniel Osbourne/Oz (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Summary: It turns out that James was Severus' brother/half-brother. Very few know this until Harry sees a copy of his family tree, which he made for a school project, or received from Gringotts.
Musts:
-Takes place 4th year or after.
-Pairings are optional, but Harry/Luna is preferable if there is one for Harry.
-Hermione, Neville, and most of the Weasleys should be supportive, while Ron should start out being obstinate and anti-Slytherin. Whether he stays that way or not is up to you.
-Severus is initially in denial about the fact that he's related to James and Uncle to his son, but he gets to know Harry and eventually takes over guardianship.
-One or both of Severus' parents is still alive and he goes to talk to them after he finds out.

Summary: "You want to know why they did that to him, Severus? Why they beat Harry and treated him like a house-elf? I'll tell you, all Petunia sees in Harry is a chance to gain revenge on a dead parent she loathed. A parent Harry can't even remember. Should she ever divorce Veronon, you'll be in luck. Summary: This challenge is inspired by Muse's Uprising.

Summary: Events transpire that make Hermione Harry's sister and Snape their father - either biological or adopted. This could happen in a number of ways:
(a) Hermione is Snape's daughter (for example, Death Eater rape and oblivation of Hermione's mother in the first war) (b) Or Hermione's parents are killed by Death Eaters and Snape adopts her (c) Harry is Snape's son via Lily (d) Or Snape adopts Harry. Whatever the case, it comes as a surprise to both Harry and Hermione. How do they react to Snape and to each other? I would prefer it not take place pre-Hogwarts, so that they would first get to know each other without knowing that they are related or being adopted. Summary: The golden trio gets it into their head that if only they could get Snape a girlfriend, he would go easy on them and be less of a git in general. To find a suitable witch in staff/outside, they establish a club and invite Slytherins - who gladly join in to get their House-Head off their backs. Adults/teachers (parents in Snape's circle eg Malfoys) get involved as well. Finally - something that unifies all Hogwarts students under one banner. Do they succeed? If they do, are they, especially Slytherins happy to have their head's attention off them or jealous?
