Prompt Fest Betas

As we compile a list of prompts for Prompt Fest 2012, we hope to generate a list of people who would be interested in beta work. You may both beta and enter the fest or simply beta alone. If you are interested, please reply, including an email address if you are not a registered member. Thanks!

Story Length You Will Beta: Drabble, One-Shot, Multi-chaptered, Epic, All

Willing to do: Basic beta duties (grammar, spelling, punctuation), Expanded Duties (plotting, characterization, story ideas)

Won’t Beta: (examples would include violence/rape/abuse/certain pairings/cuddly Snape, Severitus)

I'd be happy to beta for the fest, although I'm not participating. What exactly is needed from a beta for this, as I'm not that familiar with betaing here!

I'm willing to do any story length at expanded duties as long as I can only do about 4 fics of drabbles/one-shots or a maximum of 2 fics of Multi-chaptered or epic size. I'm in school and have limitations on time.

Wont beta: harem fics or stories with more than two slash pairings, stories that feature spanking or rape.

If I am sent stories within the next 5 days, you will more than likely hear responses within 2-3 hours, if I'm not on at that time. After that responses would be only every 12-24 hours because school starts back up for me after these next 5 days. (:

Perfect timing! Surgery on the 28th and 3-4 weeks recovery means I'll be needing something to keep from going totally bonkers. I'm hoping to be writing this time so I'll need a beta as well.

Kai (and everyone else): Everyone will have two months and one week to turn in their stories, which will give writers two months to write and their betas one week to work their magic. If you have an exceptionally long story, you'll need to coordinate that as well though.
