    Terrific chapter. I especially liked the conversation between Draco and Harry. Draco's rejection of Lucuis' influence and of Voldemort was believable and in character. Looking forward to more!

    Wonderful chapter! Hermione certainly does deserve to be in Gryffindor, doesn't she? Pretty nervy to interrupt Severus' class. But I'm glad she did---it shows how much she cares about Harry. Hopefully, Severus will realize that he needs to talk with Harry, although it sounds like they're both still in for a rough time for a while.

    I liked Draco here, and I don't always like him, never did in canon much. But it'll be interesting to see what happens with him.

    I hope RL gets better soon! Good wishes to you!

    BTW, everything was perfect in this chapter. Even Draco Malfoy, and that's saying a lot because I usually am not much of a Draco fan. I love your Harry, though.

    Great chapter. Because Draco and Harry's conversation was all from Draco's point of view, Harry's own feelings were kind of a hidden subtext. Draco is aware that Harry is going through difficult inner turmoil, but the reader is far more aware of it than Draco, so many of Harry's comments and actions have a lot more meaning to the reader than to Draco. That created some quite excellent tension. I can't imagine exactly what Harry did after Draco left, but I have a feeling it reflected a lot more inner anguish than Draco would ever have expected. Makes me wonder what Snape will find when he finally gets around to Harry after classes are over.

    Argh! I want to see the next chapter, mainly just to see how Severus will react to either (A) Hermione's and his own worry about Harry's lack of progress OR (B) what the hell Draco was doing there.

    Nice conversation between those two. I like how Harry quickly changed his mind about having tea with him. I can just imagine - sometime in the future - Molly will kindly offer Harry some tea whilst he's stay at the Burrow and he'll just run a mile. Teehee.

    Draco isn't annoying me so far, which is a good sign. It usually takes me awhile to warm to him, probably because I never did in canon, but you're bringing me around like few other stories can.

    I reread "Walk the Shadows" the other day because I wanted to be clear about exactly what happened for the sequel. It was great fun. Often, when you reread a fic that you've been reading in instalments, it can kind of be weaker. I actually think yours was better all in one go, which was great. Things maybe seemed even more in character. Anyway, the lesson is, I love this series of yours.

    I'm loving the Snapey hugs, I always imagine a young Severus delivering them. I hope that the job/health issues resolve themselves nicely sometime soon. Thanks for another great chapter and take care!

    I'm glad that Draco's on the right path now, even if his reasons for it arn't entirely moral. But, that's ok, especially if he's able to get Harry to open up and heal from his whole ordeal.

    I'm interested to learn that Severus has been having more problems with the Slytherin House than he lets on. But, considering the shape that Harry's in, can we really blame him for keeping this from Harry? And it's also nice to know that Hermione still cares about him and that Draco does now too.

    And Hermione! I think she did the right thing, although I was expecting a bit more of a reaction out of Severus. But I guess he can handle the situation better when it's in its own chapter...chapter 3, that is. By the way, how's that coming? Almost done? Great!

    I'm looking forward to reading it!! Hope you're able to find some time for yourself amidst real life and all of it's 'pleasentries.' Happy Weekend!

    Yaaaayy!! Draco and Harry are trying to be friends!! Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!!

    I'm so glad that Draco isn't trying to get close to Harry to hurt him or for revenge!! Draco's right, he may be able to help Harry better because of his background, as he has more insight into what Harry's going through!! I'm also intrigued by the troubles Severus is having with his house, and I hope we hear more about them!!

    Honestly though, what was Hermione thinking, interrupting Severus' class for that? If I were Severus, she'd have lost some points, Harry's friend or not - bossy little know it all!!

    I'm sorry RL is still being grim, and thank you for taking the time to post a new chapter - and for the Snapey hugs!!
