I adore strawberrry lemonade, it's almost as good as mango lemonade,:) Great chappie, nice, sweet ending. i'm wondering if I should leave it whereit's sweet and go to bed--i just can't though!

It's so hard to read how Harry is suffering, and how completely worn down he is now. It's having such a huge effect on him and on Severus too.
Things have been building up to a head the past couple of chapters, but I do hope that Harry can really start healing now and that he and Severus can improve their relationship.
I think they really do love one another now, but probably don't realise it themselves. Harry's outburst is actually evidence of that, I think. You tend to blow up at people you feel comfortable with, people you know won't abandon you. If you have doubts about the strength of the relationship, you tend to bury some of the bad feelings and play them down. Of course, Harry is just so tired and overwhelmed, too, he can't help how he's acting, I think.
I was glad to see that he and Severus were able to make peace here, and I'm really looking forward to the next chapter! Oh, and I had a feeling that the 'strings' were to let Harry's friends visit! I only hope Ron will agree to come and will try to be civil and not give Harry a hard time. It would break Harry's heart if Ron acted like a jerk. Harry is fragile now, whether he wants to admit it or not, and he needs his friends to be loving and supportive.
Can't wait for chapter 10!

It's good to see Harry will be protected from himself. If only the nightmares would end, he'd finally feel better. Great chapter as always and I hope you can update again soon!
I went back tonight and reread Walk the Shadows and these 9 chapters of Before the Dawn. What an awesome story. It engenders so many emotions. There's sorrow and hurt for everything that Harry has suffered. Poor Harry! There's also admiration for Severus because of all that he is doing for Harry: I really like your Severus. I like your development of his feelings for Harry, your showing of his sense of duty, etc. It's obvious that he really loves Harry at this point but I don't think he realizes it totally himself.
Walk the Shadows seemed to end on an upbeat note, but the very first chapter of this story plunged back into despair. Finally this chapter gave more hope that Harry can recover. I hope personally that this will mark the beginning of recovery for him. One of the reasons I liked the Harry Potter bnooks so much is because Harry surmounted impossible odds. No matter the starkness of his upbringing and the loss of those adults he cared about, he still managed to be a loving, strong person. I'm hoping this fanfiction story will end up with Harry being strong, healthy, and loving as well as being able to vanquish Voldemort.
Great story. Please keep writing as fast as RL will let you.
Great to see an update to my favorite of your stories! I particularly liked the build up of Harry's anger which you described very, very well, making his rage almost palpable.
good chapter, harry needs to learn some control over his actions and allow severus to help him with his addiction to the spell, nightmares and his over compulsive behaviour
