That song always makes me cry when I hear it at Christmas. Interesting story so far!

I hope they are not leaving Hogwarts! Thank you for updating
Oh, wow-- they didn't know they were being watched from the shadows! But how cool of Snape to be so tolerant of the little sneaks! It's gratifying to see him truly putting Harry's needs first. And just WHERE will Harry choose to go? (Given shadow's knowledge of aut's recent real-life obsession, shadow has definite ideas of their travel plans! *snicker*) Great chapter!
Author's Response: Haha! thanks for reading and reviewing Shadow! Yep, they were being watched in the shadows. Severus didn't want to leave his son. :-) And, yep, he knew Harry's needs were paramount so his friends were allowed to stay. :-D Hehe and yep, you know me all too well. :-D
US!!! But I'll be happy with Austrilia too. But can they go to the US?
What happened with the Gryffs?
Author's Response: Hey there, thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it. LOL, you'll get to see where they end up next chapter. :-D Stay tuned!
Looking forward to more. I guessing Australia? Update soon.
Author's Response: maybe. You'll find out next chapter! Thanks for reading and reviewing :-)
Rereading this, I suddenly wondered about the pain in Snape's head-- was that due to the elf, or connected to the magic scroll, or was Quirrell(Voldemort) nearby?
Author's Response: Hey thanks for the review/question! It's due to the magic scroll. Good guess!

Thank you for updating glad you have them little closer
Author's Response: thanks for reviewing
Interesting but not wholly unexpected development, given how you foreshadowed it pretty well. A note about being AU on a certain detail (not to complain, though) is that Hermione spent X-mas with her parents in 1st year. I think you were right to ignore that for this story, though.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Yeah, I need Hermione later on so she had to stay. More on that later.
Wow! Talk about a cliffie! I just reread the entire story, since it had been so long. (I get the feeling I might-- SOMEHOW-- have missed the previous update!) Anyway, well done, autumn! This chap is chock full of plots, and I can't wait to see where they'll all lead. From the mysterious men at the beginning to the Marauders Map to Snape being Harry's father-- oh, boy! Not to mention Harry's therapy; I'm trying to envision getting around Hogwarts (staircases) in a wheelchair. Of course, if Dumbledore puts in a lift, I suspect the old geezer will enjoy playing around with it, second only to his passion for sherbet lemons! Hee! But it was wonderful to see Harry able to laugh while he was reading-- possibly about Peter-the-cat?! Thanks for the update! :-)
Author's Response: Aww thanks for reading and reviewing Shadow! HEHE, I have my plans reguarding Harry's "wheelchair." :-D Though a lift may very well come in handy-just don't let Authur Weasley near it. HEHE. And yeah, there are a lot of things in that book to laugh about. Ah, memories! :-D
So glad to see you've updated this wonderful fic! I'd forgotten all about but was delighted to become reaquainted with it. Lovely chapter with a nasty/nice cliffie at the end!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading. The next chapter won't take so long to get out. Thanks again!
HARAN is from the Hebrew, meaning MOUNTAINEER or MOUNTAIN PEOPLE
however, i hve no ide wht show you were plugging since my brin is out of order. i'm sure it ws right in front of me the whole time. slytherin house forever!
Author's Response: Hey thanks for the review. Your guess about the name is very close but it's translated in general as "strong," at least when it's a name, I suppose it could get more general. Thanks for reviewing! :-D As for the show, I'll reveal that later, a hint is that it's actually an American 70s-80s show :-) And Slytherin does rock!
