    I knew it! I knew he was magical from how he got so sick from the potion. I mean, just being near a case of accidental magic, even one was big as turning a book to a frog wouldn't get you that sick. So yay, on to Hogwarts!

    I must say I'm a. Little confused about all the class mates but I'll sort them out! I think Sev is remembering Lily and the mud blood incident. I want to see more of Ginny and Haylee and of course Jack. thank you for updating and the banner

    Hi, I am soooo glad that you have returned writing this story, I've missed you, since this is one of my favourites! I love your portrayal of Harry's and Ginny's friendship, great that Harry stood up for Ginny, do you maybe have a romantic relationship in mind for later on, as in Canon? Interesting that Harry is a Slytherin, but I wonder why he didn't state that fact in his letter home? Maybe Severus got grumpy because of the fact that Harry reminded him too much of himself and his relationship with Lily, another Gryffindor girl, like Ginny? Will be intereting to see if any of the teachers will figure out Harry's identity eventually... Great chapter in a great story! Looking forward to more....

    I'm interested in why Casey was a bit odd at first, so cute that Harry defended Ginny and I had to smile about Jack standing outside the history room hiding from the ghost teacher lol

    Good sorting and the hat seems to sense trouble! I liked the hat's conversation with Harry and his comments to him.

    Whew! Took a while, but I finally got time to finish reading from chapter one. First of all, I'd like to say a huge welcome back to you! I'm so excited to hear from this story again, you have no idea haha. :)

    Are you back for good now or should we not pin our hopes on the next chapter coming up anytime soon? I do hope it's the former but I also can understand the latter of course. In either case, thank you for updating and not abandoning this story like I had originally thought.

    Now as for the chapter, I was right with my guess that Cody would be in Slytherin! Yay! I'm actually pretty happy that he went there mostly due to his upbringing. I really really can't wait to see how Severus reacts to this, the proud Papa! Hopefully, we'll get Severus back in the next chapter. I miss him already ;) Erin too of course.

    As for Jack, I was surprised that he went into Hufflepuff. Gryffindor seemed like the perfect fit for him and although his ideas that he doesn't want to make it harder for his friend, Hufflepuff seems a bit random. What were your thoughts behind that?

    And lastly, kudos for your song! Everyone would be wise to heed its words.

    Please please update again soon, I'm dying to read more! :)

    I'm impressed! I recently wanted to refresh my memory entirely as it's been some time since I wrote the fic, and even I was surprised how long it took to read all the chapters to this point. Thanks for the welcome back - and yes, I am back for good now. As evidences by the fact I will shortly be updating the next chapter as planned. Also, I will never abandon any of the stories I have on this site.

    Yes, Cody is so Slytherin! Severus will be in the next chapter, but in a very minimal capacity. A few coming chapters are focused strongly on Harry adjusting to Hogwarts and such, though Severus and Erin will be "back" soon enough.

    In regards to Jack, he is actually extremely fitted for Hufflepuff. It may not seem like it at first, but over time you'll understand why it is his perfect house. After all, bravery is not exclusive only to Gryffindors. Had he been sorted to Gryffindor he would have done well as a member of that house, however Hufflepuff is truly where he belongs and that's the real reason he was placed there. I promise this will make more sense later on.

    Thanks, I'm glad tou liked the song. And indeed, listening to it would be a very wise choice for the characters. And yet some may have to learn the hard way...

    A good for the first day at Hogwarts. Interesting look at the first years and their reaction to Harry's parents.
