Great chapter! I really hope that Severus adopts Harry - I think that thay maybe adding to Harry's anxiety - and might go a long way in calming him down so that he doesn't go wandering on the astral plane.

I think that Sev should adopt Harry. They are father and son in every way except the paperwork so they might as well make it official. It's bound to give Severus a case of the nerves though. I was wondering when Harry would encounter a Devourer while he traveled. Good thing that Ghost and Shriek are keeping an eye on him.
Yes, I think that little bit of connection means so much. It is something psychological and technically not more legally binding than what they have, but it is the expression of commitment.

Harry's lessons with Ghost were interesting. I especially enjoyed the smudging ceremony. Hopefully the smudging will help Severus, Lena and Albus after their encounters with the revenant.
