I know this is complete, but I think you could do a series in this AU, changing what happened in the books because Snape will remember everything from what happened the first time around, and Harry will remember some of it. Like the diary could be destroyed without releasing the basilisk, and Harry and Severus can visit the Chamber anyway to collect venom and scales from the basilisk. It'd probably listen to Harry if Voldemort wasn't around. Regardless, this was really good!

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm still playing with the idea of a sequel.

Lovely. It takes a great deal of wisdom and maturity to apologize like that. Great ending.

    Author's Response: Thank you!

Good piece but I was a little confused with exactly how Harry from the future merged with the younger Harry. Could you please make that a little clearer to me? I love the idea and would love to see more come from this. Write on!

Author's Response: He isn't really yet.  You'll see it come together better in the second part of the story, which I've been working on off and on for the past few months.  Hopefully it will be out soon.  Thanks for reviewing again!

Please do a sequel to this? I really enjoyed it very much. :) Of course, this would mean that I would have to add your sequel to the ever growing list of stories in my favorites section on the side bar of my screen. :D Not a bad thing! :P

    Hugs and Love,
    Vanime

    Author's Response:

*laughs* I wasn't planning on it, but I started writing one a little while back.  I'm planning on working on it this week.  Hopefully I'll it sent to beta by Halloween.

Thanks for taking time to review!

I decided to read on last story before I left for Albuquerque to see my husband who is hospitalized there. Yours was that story. I am in tears......I know this is a one shot but please please considering continuing this. I would love to see where this would go. Wonderful story/start. Thank you for making my day a bit brighter when the last four months have been so down in darkness.

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it and that everything goes well for you.  I'll consider writing more.  Thank you for taking the time to review!

So brilliant. The Narnia quote at the end was a nice touch even if it was a bit out of context, but then when you think about it it wasn't cause the magic kind of caused Snape to be brought back to life. In a way, kind of... maybe. I dunno. Anyway, I really enjoyed this, even if I generally have a thing against oneshots.

    Author's Response:

The quote was a last minute edition, mostly going a long with my thought that there was older magic than what the boys knew about.  I'm glad you enjoyed my story and hope that you have a wonderful day!

    Thanks for reviewing!

The plot felt like so much wish-fulfillment and betrayed such a misunderstanding of the books that it obscured all of the fairly good writing. I find it quite interesting that you use a C.S. Lewis quote at the end since it is much more likely that Aslan would think the apology should go the other way, or at the very least both ways than what occured here. The more I think of the tone and theme of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and the actions of the children therein, the more out of place with this fic that quote becomes.

    Author's Response:

*laughes* That was the tone of the review I got for my other story.  Alas, I couldn't get it out of my head and wrote this to appease the plot bunny.

As for the quote, it was just in referring to the wish magic.  You can call it out of place, I really don't care.  It's just a thought that came to my mind.

Either way, thank you for taking the time to review.

lovely! it would be amazing if you actually wrote the story this is setting up so well...
    =)
i like that you deal with how the way harry was treated would actually impact a young, growing mind

    Author's Response:

Thanks!  I'm glad to hear you liked it and noticed the point about environment on Harry.  I'm glad someone did! ;<P

    Thanks for reviewing!

I loved this! I'd really love to see you take it forward, though I understand what a big job it could be. I'd have to laugh at the rest of the cast--Dumbledore, for instance. He'd be so confused and frustratd

Author's Response: I can just picture how confused he'd be when Harry would tell him to take the points back.  The Gryffindors would not be happy.

"That when a willing victim who has commited no treachery is killed in place of the traitor, the stone table will crack, and even Death itself will be denied." Kudos.

Author's Response: *grins* Yep.  I love that part of the book.  Thanks for the review/quote!
