I'm also known as alandrem on the net, mostly in the Inuyasha community.
There isn't much to say about me except that I love music, Harry Potter, Rurouni Kenshin, Star Wars and to write. I suffer constanty from Plot Bunnies' attacks. Which result in taking longer than I should in updating.
Anyway for those wanting to know what other things I'm up to: I have three stories on the Inuyasha (anime, you can see it in Cartoon Network)
1. 'Present Time' - This is a 27 chapter WIP (Yes it's still a WIP I will finish it, although I don't know when.) That I have co-written with Telosphilos. I got a couple of second places for best continuing fic in one of the Inuyasha Mailing lists. Update on Present Time: I'm working on a re-write. It's now up to chapter 7, but won't be posted until I have at least half done [23/11/2008].
2. 'He Cooks!?' - My first and only one shot. I still don't know how I managed to write a one shot, I haven't been able to write one since. It's based on a challenge about using food on a story.
3. 'Just Another Crossover'.and a crossover with Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X in some places) based on 'The Portal Challenge' and that has a very unoriginal. This is also a WIP.

* Fanfic-Zone.net This is a general archive for fanfiction. If you have stories for other fandoms besides Harry Potter, the are welcomed here. Also if you have Harry Potter stories that don't fit Potions and Snitches guidelines they are also welcomed. I accept NC-17 stories. (This poor site has been neglected for a while, but I will give it a massive overhaul in the next couple of months [23/11/2008])
* Inuyasha's Corner Which is currently undergoing heavy modifications. This is a whole community with a fanfiction archive, a forum and fanart area. (This one is finally dead. I lost the hard disk where I had stored a backup of the site. The thing simply died noisily on me. I might still do something though not sure what yet [23/11/2008].)
* Animealam's Journal I keep here not just random comments but my Plot Bunnies for Harry Potter as well as drafts of chapters for my stories. They are under a privacy spell (he he) but if you want to read them I might give permission to see them. Just ask and you must be a LiveJournal member. - This is one story I really like. It's hard to get the super power non-human Harry plot working and still keep the story interesting and flowing. I also like how the interactions for the Severitus are working. Very good.
With a strange potion, new location and the odd Muggle Studies Professor along for the ride, Harry's in for an interesting summer, but why is Snape here? Dumbledore had better pray he gets all three back in one piece! Humor, Angst, No MarySues, No Romance, No Slash.

- This is just a wonderful chapter and I really can't wait to see what Snape is going to do. I read this last night, but I was too sleepy to leave a coherent review.
I also loved the interaction between Harry and that bully. It's good to see him standing up for himself

This was a great chapter. I think that despite still being snarky you're gearing Snape into a parental figure. Are you planning to make him a bit more caring?

Yes, Snape will be more of a parental figure for Harry, and he will become more caring. It will take time, however. Thanks for your review!
For Potions and Snitches this holiday season. One shot, completed. Harry is stuck at Hogwarts during the winter holidays, and notices that something has been disappearing. He decides to investigate.

- I really enjoyed this story Jan, it was very good and so in tune with the spirit. Besides, who would have thought Snape was really the one stealing all those candy canes? Ummm... some of the sweets I did not know , but at least I can say I like candy canes.

I enjoyed so much the way you created the street kid character for Harry and the interactions with Snape. They are really good and I think you have also managed to keep Snape in character.
I hope to see the rest of the chapters posted here too.

- This was an interesting start, so I look forward to reading more. As to the eye color, I think Sirius has blue eyes, Remus Amber or light brown and James I believe were also some sort of brown, although I'm not completely sure.
Not everything is what it seems. Will Snape discover this in time to help Harry? When two people are forced to cooperate to save their world and themselves, they find that some things are better kept hidden. Formatting now corrected.
