Now there is, but at its best, I've only got about 84% control, and when I'm stressed/sick, it drops back down into the teens.

It's normal that stress would weaken our control, but you are doing very well, if you can manage control at 84%. Good luck. I wish you the best.
When Severus Snape is left in charge of Hogwarts over the Christmas break, he is less than pleased to discover Harry will be one of his charges. Events force him to face that Mr. Potter may not be quite what he has assumed all these years.

- More please!!! It's very good and their reactions seem to be very much within character.
There's only a couple of spelling things here and there that caught my eye--distracting me a bit.
1. Chapter 2 - first paragraph, last word - should be "breathe" with an "e."
2. Chapter 3 - fourth paragraph - the bit about the water losing "it's heat . . ." - that should be "its" without the apostrophe. In that word, "it's" only ever means one thing: "it is."
Sorry if I'm being nit picky. I just think you're so close to being perfect already; why not take that final step?

- Oh my. I'm sorry to hear about your mother. My step-mother died while in the care of hospice about 2 years ago from liver cancer that had metastasized. Hospice people are the best, but it's still horrible for you to have to go through that. :(
But I did like the bit about Lena fighting to protect her books. :)

Thanks and I'm sorry about your stepmom. Hospice was actually very good to us, my mom didn't even know she was in hospice because she was in a coma before she died, but they helped the rest of us while she was there.
Yeah, I'd be fighting to protect my books too!
