I am nearly thirty, mother of three and work as a family helper with system therapy methods for a small, fine company in Berlin.
I grew up in the East of Germany, hence, I still appreciate bananas (literally and symbolically) and speak Russian. I have studied Pedagogy, Sociology and Psychology.
The Potterverse fascinates me for many reasons. The main one... it is my secret escape from a rather harsh reality.
As I wake at stupid o'clock every morning, I have time to write, too. The topics are usually dark and involve abuse, violence, rape and severe psychological problems.
I listen to a lot of music, mostly classical. A long time ago, I have applied to study Church Music (without being religious), but I wasn't accepted. Oh well.
My favourite authors here are: Bellegeste, Cecelle, ApollinaV, FoolishWishmaker, Malora, owlsaway, WatchersGoddess, Seraphin1977 and ObsidianEmbrace.
In general I like to read Fyodor Dostoevski, Nikolai Gogol, Anton Chekhov and Mikhael Sholokhov. The Russians just write the best stories in my opinion. Full of melancholy and sadness and alcoholism and poverty. Real and raw and awesome.
I smoke, drink and work too much.

- I loved this story. Really really liked it. I did think that Harry may be a wee bit OOC, so is Snape, but... if this exact thing had happened in canon, you never know.
What was particularly intriguing about this FF, something I don't see enough and people do not talk about... is the helplessness, the overstrained, overburdened feeling of the 'helper'.
I remember being brought to psychiatry after my previously healthy, happy little boy suddenly fell into a coma and vegetative state, hearing nothing, seeing nothing, bleak prognosis, severe brain damage after encephalitis.
I was so distressed, like your Harry, couldn't breathe, look after myself, wanted to die if things wouldn't get better and none of the wards or doctors wanted me, none of them could cope. Some were quite outspoken about their inability to take on 'a case like that, because we don't know what could happen'.
You have described all of this very very well and you are talented. Keep going. 10/10.

Oh, I'm very sorry about your little boy. Did he get better? I'm glad that you are better, and I hope this story didn't bring up too much negative emotion for you, although I am happy to hear that I hit the nail on the head with Snape and Harry's emotions. Some of the emotions I write into my stories are my own or those of people I know, but a lot of them are from me trying to put myself in their shoes and think about how I would feel in those situations. I'm also a Psychology major and some of these things are things I've learned about in school.

- What a great story! Snape really was way too harsh, it makes sense that Harry thinks this way. Canon Harry doesn't really seem to have too many of those issues which seems fairly unrealistic. I do hope dear Severus warms up a bit more, the clothes thing was very sweet.
Harry Potter has experienced a horrible summer before his 6th year and Snape is the one who discovers it. Can the two of them overcome their differences in an effort to heal Harry’s wounds? ***COMPLETE***

- Awesome. I love your dark topics, how you tackle them with dignity and don't euphemise or play things down like many others. I like that your Snape doesn't become the Mother Of The Year in every story and that Harry has got some defiance in him, despite the horrible things that keep happening to him.

- I read this story on my PDA while trying to commute with trams and city trains. I missed every single stop, I couldn't take my eyes off your awesome writing.
Your Snape is spot on, so is your Harry.
13 years! That is what would have happened, they both are so stubborn.
I found the whole immune dysfunction/ sickness, and then coma stuff really well done, so well done that it was difficult to read.
I have spoken to my own boy in a coma, for weeks, with no reaction, everyone being there, like in your story (grandparents and all). I've seen children who had degenerative disease and we seemed to have been the only lucky ones in the whole ICU who had our child coming back to us (though it can take months to wake from a coma, but then, my boy is no wizard ;) )

Well written, I really liked it.
Snape loses control and severely injures Harry. Both of them must deal with the consequences. The question is, will they have to deal with them alone, or will they be able to work through them together?

- It's excellent. I really enjoyed it. I have to say that I find Dumbledore's judgements, everyone's a little harsh. From you are decribing, he had a flashback. Temporary insanity. He NEVER meant to hurt actual Harry like that.
