- I love this story, I like to come back to it every once in a while to remind myself that there is good fanfiction out there. It's expertly written, no correction, masterly written- you've got all the characters especially Snape down to a tea, and I love the plot with all it's twists and turns.
I'm only sad that it was never finished. I've looked everywhere I could think and it's still at 44 chapters.
I know that the likelihood of it being finished is slim and do you know what? I do not think it matters, you're done something wonderful and you've sparked our imagination.

Unfortunately, it has been so long since I've written that it's really difficult for me to sit down and pick up where I left off. I've tried a few times, and I just can't remember exactly where I was going with it. I used to have such a vision for the story that every chapter just flew out of my fingertips! Now I feel defeated when I stare at a blank word document titled "Chapter 45".
I really want to continue and finish the story, I'm just so much busier now than I was when I was writing avidly.
Thank you for your review and if I can ever get a handle on my real life I certainly want to go back to writing about these characters. Reviews like yours encourage me and remind me of what I set out to do in the first place.

- ARh no! It's such a shame that you've left it there, it has bags of potential.
In terms of the plot, I'm not sure about the nine children, it makes reading it a bit confusing and hard work although saying that, it most have been even more confusing for you to write! I'll have to be content for now with making up the rest of it myself :D

I have about 300 words of the next chapter wrote already. But I'm working on a fic for Lent at the moment (I don't know what I was thinking when I thought I would write a chapter a day for Lent!) and on my fic fest entry as well, so it may take a little while. But after Easter and the fic fest are over, this story will be my priority.
And I cheat with Severus and Juliana's kids - I had a list I use of all of them with their ages. It makes things easier to keep track off. I had a massive gap when I didn't update this story due to changing computers and I lost all my stuff, including that list. It took me so long to figure out where I was and which order the kids went in! Do you think it would help other readers if I just uploaded a list like that in one of the notes?

- This story is really good! The joy you have for words and language really shines through. It definitely deserves more reviews. It's lack of attention says absolutely nothing about the quality of the story as there is nothing remotely mediocre or cliched about it. Your style reminds me a bit of aspeninthesunlight and her AYLNO Saga, and couldn't help but think of 'A place for warriors' :) (that's a good thing).
