Snape mentors Harry fic. Snape is forced to take Harry into his home for the summer on Dumbledore's orders and as expected, it proves a difficult experience. However, after much reluctant soul searching, Snape comes to find, as his previous reasons for hating Harry are eliminated one by one, that teaching his most loathed student to defend himself against Voldemort just might not be the worst thing that's ever happened to him, and that this young man's friendship, however fragile, is not something he wants to live without any longer.
